You must be at least 13 years of age to use TrueView. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should use the Platform only with parental or guardian awareness.

2. Informational Purpose Only

TrueView is an informational and educational platform. All candidate profiles, quiz results, alignment scores, and policy information provided on this Platform are for informational purposes only. They are not intended to constitute political advice, endorsement of any candidate or political party, or a recommendation of how to vote.

Your voting decisions are yours alone. TrueView accepts no responsibility for any decisions made based on information provided through the Platform.

3. No Affiliation with Candidates or Parties

TrueView is a nonpartisan platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any political candidate, political party, government agency, or political action committee. Candidate information is sourced from publicly available records and may not be fully comprehensive or reflect a candidate's most current positions.

4. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

By using TrueView, you agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users, particularly within the debate feature
• Post or transmit hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that incites violence
• Impersonate any person or entity, including political candidates
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform

6. Debate Feature

TrueView may offer a live debate feature where users can host and participate in discussions. By participating, you agree that:

• You will conduct yourself respectfully and in accordance with our Acceptable Use policy
• TrueView is not responsible for the content of user-generated debates
• We reserve the right to remove users from debates or ban accounts for violations
• Debates are public and may be viewed by other users

7. Intellectual Property

All content on TrueView, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of TrueView or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TrueView is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of candidate information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrueView shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to reliance on candidate information or quiz results.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
